What is a Non-Religious Funeral?
One that celebrates the life of the individual who has died, acknowledging the fullness of their life and the life shared by those who now make their farewells.
It is a ceremony for people who do not hold religious views as there is no reference to any god or spirit world, nor prayers. The ceremony is all about the person who has died.
The words Simon uses are drawn from you, the individual’s family and friends. Simon will meet with the close family and lead a discussion about the shared life. More often than not, this is a joyful meeting full of
happy memories.
The many letters of thanks and appreciation he receives bear witness to his skill and understanding - despite never having met the person who has died.
